CHESTER, Pa. Gus Williams Jersey . -- A.J. Soares, Diego Fagundez, Lee Nguyen, Chris Tierney and Patrick Mullins scored goals for New England in its 5-3 victory on Saturday over the Philadelphia Union, extending the Revolutions winning streak to four. The Revolution (6-3-2) pushed their unbeaten streak to six matches with five wins and a draw (5-0-1). It was also New Englands first win over the Union at PPL Park where it had been 0-4-2, including a 1-0 loss on March 15. The Revolution, who have scored a total of 10 goals in their past two games, improved to 5-0-0 this season when scoring first and Soares made that happen in the 13th minute off a free kick from Tierney. New England went ahead 2-0 in the 27th minute when the 19-year-old Fagundez scored. Philadelphia got within 2-1 in the 36th minute on a goal from midfielder Vincent Nogueira. But the Revolution quickly responded after halftime as Nguyen notched his team-best fifth goal. Tierney scored off a free kick in the 57th minute and Mullins added a goal in the 67th minute. Sheanon Williams registered the Unions second goal in the 76th minute. Philadelphia midfielder Cristian Maidana was ejected with a red card in the 82nd minute and the Union played a man down the rest of the game. Sebastien Le Toux cut the lead to 5-3 with a goal off a penalty kick in stoppage time. The Union (2-6-5) had snapped their franchise-worst nine-game winless skid with a 2-1 win at Sporting Kansas City on Wednesday. Both teams played without key players because of national team call-ups. New England forward Jerry Bengtson is with the Honduran national team while Philadelphia midfielder Maurice Edu is with the U.S. national team. Brent Barry Jersey .
