Ryan left Fridays 4-2 win over the Boston Bruins after taking an elbow to the face from Dennis Seidenberg late in the third period and missed the final three minutes of the game. The two were going for a puck in the corner and collided shortly after Ryan had given the Senators a 4-2 lead. Ryan said he was hit "right on the button," and admitted it was a "weird feeling." "I spent quite a bit of time in the other room kind of loosening things up and getting moving," said Ryan. "But I felt a lot better today than last night thats for sure." Ryan wasnt sure if he was going to be able to practise in preparation for Sundays game against the Columbus Blue Jackets when he arrived at the arena on Saturday morning. Still, he was able to get on the ice with his teammates and participate in a full day of work. As of now Ryan is questionable for Sunday and will undergo further evaluation to ensure there is no further risk of injury.
