MILWAUKEE -- NBA Hall of Famer Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is interested in returning in some capacity to the Milwaukee Bucks. Yeezy 350 v2 Static Reflective Replica . "If I get a call, I will definitely offer my services," said Abdul-Jabbar, the franchises career leading scorer with 14,211 points. "Theres nothing on the table right now. A couple of people have asked me and if I had the chance to be part of this franchise again, I would take it." In December, former Sen. Herb Kohl announced he would seek minority investors in the team, which he has owned since 1985. The franchise is at something of a crossroads, struggling to draw large crowds to an aging building. The Bucks beat Utah 114-88 on Monday, but have the leagues worst record at 12-47. Still, Abdul-Jabbar sees Milwaukee as a viable NBA market. "They have to get their business model right," Abdul-Jabbar said Monday. "I hope that the Bucks are able to sort it all out and get on a good footing. You cant win it all unless you get the right players and you cant get the right players unless youre really in a good position as a business." Abdul-Jabbar was in town in part to promote a new tourism ad for the state of Wisconsin that played off his acting role in the movie "Airplane." Over the last few years, Abdul-Jabbar has expressed an interest in returning to the NBA as a coach. Hes worked as a special assistant with teams such as the Clippers and Lakers. Abdul-Jabbar -- then Lew Alcindor -- was the No. 1 overall pick in the 1969 NBA draft and immediately turned the Bucks, coming off their expansion season, into contenders. Milwaukee went 56-26 and finished second in the Eastern Division behind Abdul-Jabbars 28.8 points and 14.5 rebounds per game. Not long after the season ended, the Bucks obtained Oscar Robertson from the Cincinnati Royals, leading to a dominant 1970-71 season. They finished with a 66-16 record and swept Baltimore in the NBA Finals, becoming the fastest expansion franchise to win a championship in the history of major professional sports. The Bucks returned to the Finals in 1974, losing to Boston in seven games. Robertson would retire just before the 74-75 season and Abdul-Jabbar quietly requested a trade, looking for a bigger market and the chance to join another contender. "They appreciated that and they appreciated that I kept my mouth shut about it," he said. "I gave them the opportunity to approach other teams and they figured out the best deal they could make for themselves." Abdul-Jabbar got his wish in June 1975, when he was shipped to the Lakers in a deal that included Junior Bridgeman going to Milwaukee. Both players have had their jerseys retired by the franchise. Bridgeman, who was honoured by the team last week, also has been mentioned as a possible investor. Fake Yeezy Boost 350 Womens . DULUTH, Ga. -- UFC president Dana White has dismissed Georges St-Pierres concerns about drug testing, calling them ridiculous and "a little kooky." White, speaking after Wednesday nights fight card at the Arena at Gwinnett Center outside of Atlanta, had harsh words for his former pay-per-view king who announced he was taking a hiatus from the sport after a controversial win over Johny Hendricks at UFC 167 in November. "What I heard is Georges St-Pierre is upset about some of the things I said at the (UFC 167) press conference and hes upset that I said that he didnt win the fight, that I thought Johny Hendricks won the fight," White said when asked about GSPs drug-testing comments earlier this week. "But if thats the case, call me man-to-man. Lets talk on the phone, lets sit down face-to-face. I talked to him after the fight face-to-face, he didnt say any of that to me. So the whole thing is a little weird." "Everything Georges St-Pierre says is a little kooky," White added. St-Pierre spoke his mind Tuesday in his native Montreal when asked by a reporter about the UFC not supporting him when he proposed drug testing in the weeks preceding the Hendricks fight. White said deals for such extra testing never come to fruition. "You see it in boxing all the time. One guy comes out and says I want to do extra drug testing because Im worried about this guy and I want to see whats going on. They never come to an agreement. This guy says I want to use this one, this guy says I want to use that one. "The Nevada State Athletic Commission is going to test them, OK?" The Nevada commission routinely tests all fighters on its cards for performance-enhancing and illegal street drugs. The commmission also does random testing (heavyweight Alistair Overeem tested positive for elevated testosterone on a random test). Cheap Yeezy 350 v2 Womens. The UFC boss also pointed out that St-Pierre asked for the extra tests to prove that he wasnt cheating, not because he thought Hendricks was taking anything. St-Pierre, he said, had been accused of cheating for years but had never tested positive for anything. White also defending the sports drug-testing policies, saying both heavyweight Josh Barnett and opponent Travis Browne were tested before their recent fight because of Barnetts drug history. "We paid for that drug testing. Also, for him (St-Pierre) to say were very lenient on drug testing, when we go out of the country and we regulate ourselves we test everybody on the card, not just the main event, not just the co-main event." White pointed to the Antonio (Bigfoot) Silva-Mark Hunt fight in Australia, where the UFC had tested Silva for testosterone levels. "So we tested him again after and his levels were through the roof and he got destroyed. Lost the win money that we gave him, lost the bonus money that we gave him, and obviously hes not getting an extra bonus. The guy got smashed, and hes suspended for a year. So if thats lenient on drugs I guess were lenient then. I mean, I dont even know what to say to it." White also dumped on St-Pierre for not reaching out with his complaints directly. "Ive been on planes, and doing all this stuff. Lorenzo (UFC co-owner Lorenzo Fertitta) reached out to him and Lorenzo still hasnt heard from him yet. If Georges St-Pierre wants to talk like a man he can pick up the phone and call us or come see us face-to-face, but everything that he said is ridiculous." ' ' '
