LOS ANGELES -- Jeff Hornacek and Doc Rivers played against each other for 13 seasons in the NBA. Nike Air Max 95 Herr Rea . This was the first time they matched up as head coaches in a game that counted, and Hornaceks Phoenix Suns gave the Los Angeles Clippers a not-so-subtle reminder of how quickly turnovers can turn into fast-break points. Goran Dragic had 26 points and eight assists before sitting out the fourth quarter, Gerald Green added 21 points off the bench, and the Suns ended the year with a 107-88 rout of the Clippers on Monday night. The Clippers went up against a team that began the day averaging a league-best 19.1 fast-break points, and allowed 18 for the game. Phoenix scored the first nine points, seven off three Clippers turnovers. The Suns converted 20 turnovers into 20 points overall, including a three-point play by Dragic that gave them a 45-34 lead with 4:55 left in the first half. "This is our game. We try to play a fast, up-tempo game, and I think things are going to be much better if you play like that," Dragic said. "Playing a half-court game is really tough for us, so we have to push the ball and try to get everybody involved. And when we get into the open court, we have all those open shooters." The Suns have won 10 of their last 12 after a 9-9 start and trail the defending Pacific Division champion Clippers by a half-game for the top spot. "It was a huge win for us, especially in L.A.," Dragic said. "We knew it was going to be a hard game. Theyre a really good team, a playoff team, and they have a lot of stars. So our job was to play them strong -- especially in the first half -- and force them to play our rhythm. We did a good job of that." Blake Griffin and Jamal Crawford each scored 15 points for Los Angeles, while Chris Paul had 11 points and seven assists. It was the most lopsided loss of the season for the Clippers, who beat the Suns the previous three times they hosted them -- by an average margin of 20 points. "I think we did a good job of being really unselfish and looking for each other," said Channing Frye, who put the clamps on Griffin following his 40-point effort over Utah on Saturday night. "We had 26 assists, so we did a better job of pushing the pace and executing. Its not like were shooting off the wall, but guys are taking the right shots most of the time. Hopefully we can remember how hard we played tonight and can continue that into the new year so we can stay in that groove were in." The Suns were 12 for 31 on 3-pointers against the Clippers, who came in with the leagues best defence against 3-point shooting (32.7 per cent). Dragic, who averaged only 9.2 points in his 17 previous games against the Clippers, powered the Suns to a 61-40 halftime lead with 20 points. Green added 14 in the second quarter, including a trio of 3-pointers that helped fuel a 16-4 run in the final 4:08 of the half. "We have a tendency every once in a while to go into a lull and give up some easy baskets, but tonight I thought we were really alert," Hornacek said. "When they rolled to the basket, we were there to help. And when they kicked it out, the guys were rotating. We just challenged every shot, and they didnt have a lot of easy shots." Los Angeles got no closer than 16 in the second half. Griffin and Paul both sat out the fourth quarter with the Clippers trailing 88-59 through three. "They just kept pushing it at us," Paul said. "On a night like this when our offence isnt going, we have to be able to rely on our defence. Tonight we couldnt. I dont think they caught us off guard. We knew how they were going to play. They hit us in the mouth early, and they just dominated us through and through. Luckily it only counts as one loss." Eric Bledsoe, who came in as Phoenixs leading scorer with an 18.4 average, played his first game against the team he spent his first four NBA seasons with and finished with seven points and four assists in 31 minutes. Griffin has drawn a league-high 123 fouls. The Suns fouled him six times. ... None of the Clippers other 11 losses were by more than 14 points. ... Donald Brown ran for two touchdowns, Andrew Luck added another and the Colts rallied yet again, this time beating the Tennessee Titans 30-27 on Thursday night. The Colts (7-3) trailed 14-0 in the first quarter and have been outscored 35-0 in the first quarters in their past three games -- two of them victories. They also have trailed in six games after the first quarter this season. "At the end of the day winning is what matters," Luck said. "We were fortunate in this game to survive our mistakes and have a chance to win. ... But we know thats got to be fixed." Adam Vinatieri kicked three field goals, including a 50-yarder, and Coby Fleener had a career-high eight catches for 107 yards to help the Colts bounce back quite nicely from a 38-8 home loss to St. Louis. They have yet to lose back-to-back games under coach Chuck Pagano and are 8-0 coming off a loss. "Obviously, starting out like that is something were all too familiar with," Fleener said. "Thats something we have to work and get corrected." The Colts are back in charge of the AFC South too, now having beaten all three divisional opponents on the road. "Were not worried about that yet," Luck said. "Were worried about this next game." The Titans (4-6) lost their second straight and fifth in six games, blowing the big lead. Chris Johnson ran for two touchdowns and 70 yards in the first quarter, but had only 16 yards after that. "Weve got to find that winning formula, whatever it is," Titans quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick said. "We have to find a way to pull these games out at the end. Its a tough locker room in there right now. Thats two in a row that kind of slipped away from us. Two big ones, two costly ones for us." Fitzpatrick drove the Titans 80 yards in four plays, capping the drive with a 19-yard TD pass to Delanie Walker with 1:54 left. But the Titans, just like they did in becoming the first team to lose to Jacksonville this season on Sunday, couldnt execute an onside kick with the ball not even covering 10 yards before Colts linebacker Pat Angerer covered it up. The Colts had the ball less than 6 minutes in the first quarter and wound up holding the ball more than 32:23. They also outgained the Titans 366-340 after Tennessee opened with a 148-4 edge in total offence with its quick start. Indianapolis sealed the victory with an 11-play drive capped by Brown with an 11-yyard TD with 3:01 left, and the Colts ran on 10 of the 11 plays for 60 yards. Air Max 95 Sverige. That was the Colts fourth drive of 11 plays or more, and Brown praised the maligned offensive line for a phenomenal job. So did Pagano, who said the linemen took it personally. "They had a point to prove," Pagano said. Luck finished 23 of 36 for 232 yards passing. The Titans came out with the start they only wish they had Sunday losing to Jacksonville 29-27. Fitzpatrick did not turn the ball over once replacing Jake Locker, whos out the rest of the season with a Lisfrac injury to his right foot. The Titans were up 17-6 at halftime and looked to be in control as the Colts had a mini-meltdown with three personal fouls including linebacker Erik Walden head-butting Delanie Walker after ripping the helmet off the Titans tight end. The Colts won their fourth straight and for the ninth time in 10 games over their divisional rival with Vinatieris 30-yard field goal as the first half expired helping settle the Colts down. That was the first of 20 straight points as they dominated in the third quarter holding the ball for more than 11 minutes in taking a 23-17 lead. They opened the third quarter with an 11-play drive where Luck completed all five of his passes for 42 yards, including two on third down. Brown capped the drive with a 7-yard TD. Then Devon Wylie, signed to the roster Tuesday for an injured Damian Williams at returner, ran into teammate Craig Stevens and fumbled on the kickoff for Tennessee. Daniel Herron recovered for the Colts at the Titans 20, and Luck scrambled for an 11-yard TD two plays later. It was yet another special teams gaffe this season by the Titans. "For whatever reason, we just cant hold onto the football," Titans coach Mike Munchak said. "Another seven-point play really." The Colts forced Tennessee three-and-out, and the Titans finally held in forcing Indianapolis to a field goal. Vinatieri kicked his third of the night, a 50-yarder that went just over the crossbar. That capped 17 unanswered points in the third quarter as Luck connected on his first eight passes and was 9 of 11 for 71 yards in the quarter. NOTES: Vinatieri tied his career best with his fourth field goal from at least 50 yards this season. He is 4 of 6 this season in that range. ... The Colts are 8-0 under Pagano when not turning over the ball. ... The Colts improved to 4-1 on the road this season. ... Walker caught a career-high 10 passes for 91 yards. ...
